How to play
Connections is a word game about noticing patterns quickly. Each round shows a 4x4 grid of 16 shuffled words. Hidden inside are four groups of four, and each group shares a single link: animals, capital cities, colours, months, musical instruments and so on.
- When the round starts, scan all 16 words before you tap anything.
- Tap four words you think share a link. Changed your mind? Tap a word again to unselect it.
- Tap Send group when you are sure. Solo, you get exactly one try per round, and any one of the four correct groups counts.
- If you are wrong, the game reveals all four groups with their links, so you learn the logic for the next round.
- In a private room the round is a race on the whole board: find all four groups one at a time, with only four mistakes allowed. The first player to clear the board wins the round.
