How to play

The Secret Word is a solo guessing game that balances nerve against patience. A word is hidden, and the game feeds you clues about it one after another. The first clue is very broad, something like "can be eaten without cooking", and each new one narrows things down until the last clue almost gives it away.

1. After a 3-second countdown the first clue appears and the clock starts: 60 seconds per word.
2. A new clue appears every 12 seconds, up to 5 clues per word.
3. Tap letters in order to fill the answer boxes, and send whenever you are ready.
4. Wrong? Try again straight away while the clock is still running.
5. If the minute runs out, the answer is shown and the next word begins.
6. A game has 10 words, and you see your total at the end.
